What's the happy medium between a slinky slip and a poofy petticoat?
I like to wear midi skirts, and I want something I can wear underneath them to give them a bit more body. What I find when I search for slips are super thin, and what I find when I search for petticoats are super poofy. Surely there must be some sort of middle ground, right? Something that can add some thickness without being too ostentatious?
Specifically, what I wear are Maya Kern's midi skirts. I have her petticoat, which I love when I want to be a bit fancy, but it feels a bit much for, say, work or running errands. I don't know what search terms to use or where to look for what I want, though.
I would appreciate recommendations for specific products, if you have any. I'm plus-size, though, so specific products from plus-size friendly brands are especially desired. |
