Need a nutrition macros app with some needed features. I am on iOS and willing to swallow the poison of subscription on the recommendations of fellow mefites.
I am embarking on a lifestyle change that includes 5:2 intermittent fasting and carb cycling. I need an app that handles daily variant macros and calories/food tracking.
After using MyFitnessPal I have concluded that I would like to have food logging with barcode and picture analysis, in addition to standard entry. If it tracks weight, measurements, allows note taking and shows trends that would be delightful.
If anyone wants to comment on their experience with 5:2 and carb cycling that would be helpful in thinking about the details. This includes helpful websites and all that.
I would prefer paying for it once but based on recommendations from you, my lovely fellow mefites, I will do subscription.
