Help me refine my sleep setup so I can ideally get some

I have sleep apnea and am currently waiting for a CPAP machine. It's unclear how long I'll be waiting, but will need to keep going without for at least the next few months. Seeking recommendations for things (thinking specific types of side sleeper pillows?) that have made things easier for people in similar situations.

I'm naturally a back sleeper, but sleeping on my side helps me wake up feeling like I'm actively dying fewer times per night. A slight incline to the pillow seems to help, but both these things compress nerves and make my arms tingly or numb. I can see they make pillows in various shapes with little tunnels for your arm to go in, have you tried one of these for this purpose and can you recommend it? What other kinds of special pillows for side sleeping might make it more comfortable to do? I'm in the UK but may be able to get a similar pillow if they don't have the exact one here. What other adjustments to your sleep setup have helped make side sleeping more comfortable if you've had to switch?

Bonus question if you have sleep apnea, please tell me any one weird tricks that helped you get some slightly less disrupted sleep in the absence of a CPAP for while I wait. (No weight loss advice though, thanks)
