Separating hobby and work

If you have a hobby or passion that became your job, how do you manage to keep your passion for your hobby without it associating with your job? For example, let's say I love writing, but also write as my job. On my time away from my job, writing still reminds me of work, so I feel myself avoiding it rather than pursuing it as my passion. How do you deal with this? How do you keep pursuing your passion without it just becoming something you have to do for work
