Landlord looking to sell in the next six months and casually offered the house to my wife and I first. I've bought and sold one (small) home before, but never dealt with a no-realtor "For Sale By Owner" situation. Anybody have first-hand experience with a good Real Estate Lawyer or a good Home Inspector in Portland, OR, you could recommend?
And, anything else I should be on the lookout for as a FSBO buyer? We've lived in the house for several years and feel pretty confident we know its ins-and-outs at least at the surface level, and seller is happy to split the ~6% savings (from not going through a realtor) with us.
