A surrealistic trip into the feverish mind of Franz Kafka, by way of Terry Gilliam and 'Andalusian Dog'. It's like a weird Wes Anderson nightmare, but darker and less cute than Anderson himself. Crispin Glover is Mr. K., a traveling magician who finds himself trapped in a crumbling, central-European hotel and can't get out. It's a Norwegian-Belgian-Dutch co-production, made by a German director in English.
