The 403 error ("You don't have permission to access this resource.") occurs when the user page URL contains special characters like a space (%20). This causes the server to misinterpret or deny access to the resource.
Solution:
The user SoualWjoab solved the problem by modifying the rewrite rule in their Q2A .htaccess file. Specifically, the rule was changed to:
Adding the B] flag to the RewriteRule has the effect of "back-reference escaping." This helps correctly process special characters like spaces (%20) in the URL, preventing the 403 error.
To apply this fix:
-
Access your .htaccess file in the root directory of your Q2A installation.
-
Locate the relevant RewriteRule line (it's usually the one that redirects all requests to index.php).
-
Add the ,B flag after the L] flag (if it's not already there), so it becomes B,L] or L,B]. The user SoualWjoab used B,L].
-
Save the file and check if the issue is resolved.
Note: Before making any changes to configuration files, it's always recommended to create a backup of the original file to prevent unintended issues. |
