I think it was maybe a month ago, there was some discussion about a movie possibly? Set in the semi-near future, where you could hire pets by the hour via an app (for the busy professional).

But it was all a front for data-harvesting info about the humans or something simlar, and the pets were either clones or machines?
And someone in the comments possibly, referred to it as uberpets.

I've tried a few searches in various keywords for this. But my search skills have been failing me.
