Well. Our libraries have all closed now. We have been reading picture books but I think now its time we try to move to chapter books for me to read aloud. I would prefer enough pictures to keep the boys interested, like one per page, or one per every other page? We don't have an e-reader for kids.

We are in germany. My mom read us so so many books. Little house books, where the read fern grows. I think my two are a little young for those but maybe you all have some suggestions?I have been borrowing about 20 picture books a week from the library and last lockdown I bought huge boxes of books on ebay but its quite expensive and not all the books are really worth it. So I plan on buying some. I could potentially get my kids a kindle fire but I do prefer actual print books and a kindle fire in the british store of amazon would take a while for me to set up.
