Seeking a reasonably priced consultation before attempting to negotiate a reduction on a residential lease.

My wife and I signed a 2-year renewal lease on our rent-stabilized apartment in early March, but the impact of the COVID lockdown on our professions was unclear at the time. It has only recently become clear that early 2021 is an optimistic target for when we'll be able to start working again with any meaningful regularity. Our current lease ends in mid-June, and we'd like to remain in this apartment in which we've been for 10 years and never once had a late or missed payment.
Any experiences or advice is welcome!
