mouse/keyboard config via webpage - security concerns?

I'm looking at some of the Perixx accessories - mice and keyboards - which connect via Bluetooth and are configured using the Perixx website. Is that a security concern, or no big deal?

Something just makes me a little nervous about going to a website to configure my peripherals, and I'm even wondering if there's any data vulnerability in using peripherals that transmit signals wirelessly rather than over wired USB.

... And I just discovered that using the config page turns out to not be an option for me - I visited the Perixx config page and it requires Chrome, which I do not have - but I'm still interested in the hivemind's thoughts about whether using a website to configure peripherals is secure or not.

Thanks!
