What are your favorite New Yorker articles from the past 3-4 years?
I recently discovered that my library card gets me free access to the New Yorker through Libby, including back issues from late 2022 to now. I know they publish a lot of good stuff, but my favorite pieces are great writing about unusual situations, characters or communities. For example, two recent articles I've enjoyed are Patrick Radden Keefe's story of an intentional car-crash ring in New Orleans and Ian Parker's piece on a feud between members of the dressage community. Not really looking for important/newsy/heavy stuff, I get plenty of that elsewhere!
