Can't get out of dark mode on Chrome

I'm on a MacBook Pro OS Monterey (12.7.6). All of my regularly visited websites are showing up dark today for no discernible reason. I went into Chrome settings and made sure Light Mode was chosen. I then went to my computer preferences and made sure Light was chosen there, too. I've restarted. Nothing's working.

Here are some pics of my settings:

Chrome settings

Mac settings

Instructions followed from google (note it's in dark mode)

I'm using Firefox at the moment, which is displaying websites properly, but I am required to use Chrome for certain things at work.

This just happened today. I didn't change anything. I just opened my computer and this is how Chrome displays the internet now. I would like it to stop.
