Looking for facts/trivia about the day of the week Wednesday. I've pretty much mined the Wikipedia entry, and searching just brings up a lot of AI lies, but maybe humans know some more things?
There's a thing that I need a colleague to bring to me every week on a Wednesday, which if they forget is mildly inconvenient for me. They have a lot of things to remember to bring for people, so setting an alarm on their phone for this one thing isn't practical. I don't have the same constraint, so I set an alarm for Wednesday morning and text them. The first time I did it, instead of just texting, "yo d00D, it's WeDnesday" or something, I sent a trivia fact (accidentally in the form of a Jeopardy clue whose answer would be "What is Wednesday?"). They sent an intentionally random answer and brought my thing, and all has been good and mildly entertaining, but I'm running out of trivia.
If you know a thing about Wednesday that's not in the Wikipedia article, let me know! It doesn't have to be something that any sane person would know, since that's obviously not the point. Any country/culture is fine, as long as it references that day of the week, whatever it is called.
(Even knowing how much AI lies, i was startled at the number of search results that confidently asserted that various historical things happened on a Wednesday which absolutely did not when I looked up the date via more conventional means.) |
