Are there any kid friendly PC games similiar to Uncharted?

I recently let my 8 year old start playing Uncharted 4 and he's loved what he's played of it but I'm realizing I've opened up a can of worms and am uncomfortable with the violence level in it. I'm looking for something with similar climbing/swinging mechanics but with less gun play and fist fighting. I have a reasonably modern PC but no consoles.

Hy kid loves action and adventure but I'm realizing watching him start Uncharted 4 (we're only 20 minutes in) that what felt like "safe" and cartoony violence when I played hits a lot different when I'm letting my kid play!

I'd rather give him a good alternative rather than just ban him from continuing a game he's bound to get obsessed with. Something with exploration, ideally some sort of grappling hook and climbing mechanic, but minimal to no violence. Oh, and single player only. I learned my lesson when I let him play Roblox for a little bit.

The obvious contenter would be Little Gator Game but he's already finished that to 100% completion!

Unfortunately all google turns up is alternative grown up games like Tomb Raider or The Last of Us which while similar, aren't exactly nonviolent.
