Wondering if anyone knows of a good Wordpress plugin that accepts submissions & payment at once. Not just, like, 1 or 2 word files, but also images and multimedia (say, 10 photos at once, or a video or song). Essentially the opposite of a click-thru online store payment. Instead of buying, the user 'submits,' and then makes a payment. If not, can anyone think of a good workaround? see extended explanation for details]

Hi all,

I've a lot of artistic acquaintances, whose works I increasingly feel called to share and get out into the world. As well as others' valuable under-the-radar works.

Been thinking of converting a somewhat bygone Wordpress site into a modest online literary/arts journal accepting submissions in various genres - stories and poetry, art and photos, short humor and cartoons - and, to offset the time and energy spent, charging small fees for some types of submissions.

However, after looking into the costs of setting up a Submittable Account - used by most literary magazines nowadays - and similar services (Moksha, Duosuma, etc), won't go into details, but suffice it to say, it's prohibitively expensive for the kind of smallscale endeavor I'm envisioning. Would likely be losing a bunch of money, or if not, barely breaking even.

Thus, wondering if anyone knows of a good Wordpress plugin that accepts submissions & payment at once.

Hopefully there's some way to bypass the whole 'submissions portal subscription' system and set up payments just so Paypal or Stripe gets a cut.

Maybe, 'Honors System' - people send submissions by email + then make a separate payment thru Stripe, whereupon they get the receipt.

This is somewhat clunky and confusing though. Clearly, something simpler, savvier, and more elegant would be better.

I'm not too 'technically savvy'... All informed ideas welcome!
