This is the terrifying moment two brothers attacked a taxi with a 17-inch machete during a row rage row that led to them being sentenced to two years in prison yesterday. Charles Truman, 25 and Matthew, 22, were seen on CCTV pulling up behind the black Mercedes taxi on a roundabout in Chester at 6.30pm on August 17 before trying to yank open the passenger doors. When they discovered the doors were locked, Charles began smashing the roof and windows with the blade, which one witness described as ‘the longest knife I’ve ever seen, like something out of Lord of the Rings’.

Cody Runyon was swimming in a community pool in Rochester, Minnesota when he saw another boy passed out at the bottom of the pool. In the clip, Cody dives into the water before he emerges with another child and tries to carry him to the side of the pool. Another boy then helps him and they get him up onto the side of the pool where a woman called Desiree Pasko starts performing CPR on the boy.

Two people are in critical condition and a further six have been hospitalised after a balaclava-clad man threw the grenade at around 6am yesterday. A 28-year-old man has been detained by police over the attack.
A woman who was smashed in the head with a kettle, before being stabbed in the neck with scissors and strangled, lay in the lobby of her block of flats covered in blood. A man walking down the street suddenly takes out what looks like a large weapon and strikes the passerby on the back during the bizarre incident , said to be in Birmingham city centre. The victim was recorded standing by benches when the other man approached from the side. After he's struck the victim begins to move away but the attacker walks after him. Both men then moved out of the frame and the clip stopped, Birmingham Live reports.

Horrific video footage shows a car driving at full speed into a toll plaza, leading to one of the passengers being violently ejected from the vehicle. The crash took place at around 7:15am on June 3 near St. Cloud, Florida in Osceola County. The driver of the car fails to slow down as it approaches the toll plaza on the Florida Turnpike, according to WESH-TV. Seconds later, the driver of the car climbs out of the vehicle and walks on his own power, though with an apparent limp. It took a few more seconds before someone realized that the ejected passenger was lying motionless alongside one of the toll booths. At the end of the 50-second clip, another passenger is seen opening the door. Somehow, all five passengers not only survived the crash, but they have all been treated and released from hospital. The trooper wrote in his report that the driver of the car appeared to be fatigued.
