What was the relationship (if any) between the "WPA style" used to promote the US's National Parks in the 1940s, and other artistic movements like shin-hanga in Japan? Was there any influence - in either direction - between the posters and Yoshida Hiroshi's work, especially his own prints of National Parks? |
