Italian dinner party menu planning

We're hosting a dinner party and I need some help with the menu given guest diet restrictions and wine pairing.

We're hosting our first dinner party at our new apartment, so excited, but also nervous. Currently thinking of doing an multicourse meal, with appetizers first on our porch, then a pasta course, followed by a meat course with some side vegetables, with dessert being brought. I think I have the first course down. We've a few bottles of the 2010 Scholium Project Midan Al-Tahrir that we're looking to pair and I'd found someone pairing it with pappardelle, roasted squash, and a brown butter sage sauce, which sounds lovely.

The second course is where I'm a bit stumped. Fish and pork are both out given strong aversions to both. I was thinking maybe osso buco with polenta, but my parter was thinking there might be a better options out there. Any help is appreciated!
