Engravings of the Wild West?

I'm not American, but I have the idea that there are famous sets of engraved illustrations from the 19th century, showing the "opening up" of the American West, with images of indigenous peoples, as well as natural features like waterfalls and mountains, animals and so on. What am I partially remembering?
I'm looking for reference materials for an illustration. |
