Where do I drop off this old piece of junk?

I live in Dorchester, MA (South Boston) and need to get rid of an old broken rowing machine. I am having trouble finding the right search keyword for a dump. I.e. I just want to drive somewhere and drop off the broken rower. Currently all I'm finding is places you can rent dumpsters from, or expensive curbside pickup. What am I missing?
