I have a Pixel 6. I have Android Auto in my car. This cord used to work absolutely perfectly for my old Pixel 3, but is crap on the 6. Where can I get a replacement?
Specifically - a replacement with two right angle connections, USB-A to USB-C version 3.1 or 3.2, 1.5' long (give or take six inches). It seems that a combination of Pixel 6 having a USB-C 3.1 port and Android Auto having a reputation for extreme fussiness now causes the old cable to drop the connection every few seconds to minutes. Based on experimentation I'm fairly positive having a cable that is v3.(1/2) instead of v2 is the fix, but finding double right-angle A-to-C cables in that version seems next to impossible on Monoprice, Microcenter, Amazon, etc. I can get right angle C to C, or right angle v2 A to C, or 3.1 A to C without the right angle... but not all three elements at once! |
