| I'm hoping to find some great memoirs or essay collections to read, and I am looking for something rather specific -- a person (ideally a "regular" person -- not a celebrity or well-known writer/artist) moves to a new, unfamiliar city, and writes about their experiences and observations living in that city. Ideally, the tone would be primarily lighthearted/humorous, but with poignant, bittersweet moments, and emotional depth. Thank you for any recommendations! |
