Best Content Review/Approval Platform?

Besides Ziflow, what content review platform do you really like?

I am the Content Marketing Manager for a SaaS company. We're looking for a content review platform that will allow us to organize content for review and approval. Frankly, we're tired of emailing Docs and PDFs to each other, and things are getting lost.

The workflow is pretty simple and straight-forward:
1. I write a blog post or white paper.
2. I send it to my boss to make edits, approve, or reject.
That's it, really.

I've been looking at the various software vendors -- Wrike, ReviewStudio, and more -- and it seems everyone supports the basic file formats: PDF, HTML, Video. Does anyone support Word docs? That's where I'm doing most of my writing.

BTW, we used Ziflow a few months ago, and it fizzled out mainly because it was not intuitive to use. It grew to be more of a hassle trying to get the platform to work than it was to just email a Word doc to each other.
