Strange behaviour of Chat plugin

I am trying to install chat plugin by ProThoughts, the was no issue with the installation part, but when I tried to access the chat room it logged me as guest and more over it failed to create any chat room based upon the Categories on my server which is having php7.2 whereas on my local setup with php7.1 there is no issue, does any body knows how to make it workable with php7.2
I am including a screenshot of my issue
N.B.: i am aware that this might be not the correct place to report any bug related to github plugin but as the plugin page doesnot supports issues so I am asking it here.
