Gift ideas for a 6 year old engineer!

My nephew is turning 6. He loves active things and building/puzzly things. He already has every sort of sporting equipment invented. He also uses real tools (including power tools) with his dad. He already has a lot of Lego (and loves it). Please drop your best suggestions below-- I am only open to suggestions that are super cool so he'll think I'm super cool, because it's very important that I am a cool aunt. Thanks.

In the past I've gotten him a skateboard, his own kitchen knives, and goggle/snorkel/flipper set. Building-sorts of toys rated 8-10yrs would not be too advanced based on his experience. He is excellent at quiet independent play, but isn't huge on fantasy/super imaginative play; he's gonna make a symmetrical block tower as high as he can make it, not build a block castle for knights to fight dragons from. There's also a younger sister involved, so shareable is a bonus!
