Deluxe Class is the third Tycoon Express cabin in Monopoly GO, reached at 40 cumulative Express Coins on the standard class track. Tournament points raise your event score; your final tournament placement determines the Express Coin payout that advances the cabin. For another seasonal activity, see Monopoly Go Partners Event; check the tournament panel itself for the placement rewards tied to Deluxe progress.

How the Deluxe Class threshold works

The 40-coin threshold belongs to the Tycoon Express cabin track, not to a tournament score. The usual class order is Tycoon Class, Premier Class, Deluxe Class, then Elite Class. A Tycoon Class tournament is an event where leaderboard placement can earn Express Coins; it is not the same thing as the Tycoon Express class track.

That distinction matters when you are close to the next cabin. A high event score does not unlock Deluxe by itself, and reaching 40 tournament points is not equivalent to collecting 40 Express Coins. Check your Express Coin total on the Tycoon Express screen to see how close you are.

Earn Express Coins from tournament placement

Your final leaderboard position, rather than participation alone, determines the tournament payout. Check the current event's rules and reward panel before spending dice, since scoring details and placement rewards can vary between runs.

Tap the tournament icon on the right side of the board. Review the scoring actions, timer, leaderboard, and Express Coin prizes.
Play toward the scoring objective listed for that event. Railroad spaces can lead to Shutdowns or Heists that award tournament points during Tycoon Class tournament runs, but confirm the live rules instead of relying on a remembered points table.
Compare your leaderboard position with the listed coin rewards before raising your dice multiplier. Set a dice limit first, and use a higher multiplier only when a scoring opportunity is near and your reserve can cover missed rolls.
After the tournament ends and the final placement rewards are decided, open Tycoon Express. Tap the cabin or its door to check your current Express Coin total and the next class threshold.

The cabin screen is the useful confirmation: it shows your class progress and the next threshold. If your placement was enough to cross 40 coins, check whether Deluxe Class is now shown there before assuming the event score alone advanced your cabin.

What changes at Deluxe Class

Deluxe Class can add a cabin reward and improve tournament prizes for later runs. The class track may show a blue profile frame at Deluxe, but seasonal cosmetics can change, so use the reward preview on your own Tycoon Express screen to confirm what is offered for the current Sticker Album.

Keep cabin rewards separate from tournament milestone rewards and final leaderboard rewards. Tournament milestones follow event points, while Express Coins come from placement and advance your cabin. Compare both reward panels before deciding how far to push a run; progress in one panel does not guarantee progress in the other.

Avoid wasted dice and check missing coins

Use the event's current scoring panel to decide whether a Railroad-focused run is worth pursuing. Raise your multiplier selectively when the listed scoring action is close, and lower it when a missed roll would cost more than the likely reward. If the next class is out of reach at a dice cost you are comfortable with, stop chasing the rank and secure rewards you can reasonably reach.

If Express Coins seem missing, first check whether the tournament has ended and its leaderboard rewards have been finalized. Then compare the coin amount in the tournament prize panel with the total shown in Tycoon Express. A live score is not a final placement reward, so repeated rolls before the results settle may not address the issue.

Tycoon Express progress resets when a new Sticker Album begins, and unused class progress does not carry into the next season. Before your next tournament, open the event panel, confirm its countdown and Express Coin prizes, and set a dice limit; for separate album planning, review cheapest Monopoly Go Stickers.
