Need a route planner for a trip to LA

I'm traveling from New York to LA for the very first time. My goal is to map out the whole journey from start to finish so no major landmarks slip through the cracks when I get there. Los Angeles is massive and requires a ton of coordination to figure out what to see and in what order. Are there any route builders out there to help organize all the famous places in the city?

Los Angeles is so spread out that you definitely need a strategy before you arrive. You can easily waste half your day just getting from one neighborhood to another if you map things out poorly. Some folks use Wanderlog to pin specific Hollywood attractions and cafes on a grid. Google Maps also works fine for a basic layout of places to visit on different days.
