The good news is that the community has already worked out several practical solutions. With the event ending September 6, 2026, players should avoid wasting time throwing fireworks into open air. Understanding how ARC Raiders BluePrints and general resource preparation fit into your raid planning is useful, but this particular objective can be completed with a small selection of basic tools and a little patience.
Get the Right Supplies
Start by making sure you have a Fireworks Box.
You can craft Fireworks at a Level 2 Explosive Station using 1 Explosive Compound and 3 Pop Triggers. Buried City and Hospital are two useful places to look for Pop Triggers when gathering the required materials.
Players who want to skip the crafting process can purchase Fireworks Boxes from Shnie using credits. The purchase limit is three boxes every 24 hours, which is enough to give you several attempts without requiring a dedicated materials run.
For equipment, a Barricade Kit is the most useful item for the easiest approach. Electric Mines can support a second strategy, and a Snitch Scanner is useful when you need to bring flying ARCs into a specific area.
Force a Flying ARC to the Ground
The most reliable method is to disable a flying enemy before using your fireworks.
Find a Hornet or Firefly and shoot its rotors or thrusters carefully. Your objective is to damage two of these components without killing the ARC.
After enough propulsion damage, the enemy will crash and remain disabled for a short period. That temporary window is exactly what makes this strategy work.
Place your Barricade Kit directly in front of the grounded ARC. Attach the Fireworks Box horizontally to the front base of the barricade and make sure it faces the enemy.
Once the ARC is in position, step back and activate the fireworks.
This method is much more forgiving because you no longer have to predict the movement of a flying target. The enemy is already down, and the fireworks are positioned directly toward it.
Try the Rooftop Mine Setup
The Electric Mine strategy is useful when you find suitable vertical terrain.
A rooftop with tall storage blocks or a large wall is ideal. Place the Electric Mines high on the wall, making sure their trigger radius extends into the airspace around the structure.
Then position your Fireworks Box underneath them. The box should face outward horizontally instead of pointing straight into the sky.
Now attract a Firefly or Wasp. You can use a Snitch Scanner to help bring a flying ARC into the area, or simply use normal combat to get its attention.
Once it starts following you, lead it toward the trapped section of the rooftop. The ARC should fly into the mine trigger area. The resulting disruption can cause it to fall near the fireworks box.
When the target is within range, activate the fireworks.
The exact positioning may require a little adjustment, but this method can work well once you understand the relationship between the mine radius, wall height, and fireworks placement.
Use the Testing Annex at Dam Battlegrounds
There is also a useful environmental strategy at Dam Battlegrounds.
Go to the second floor of the Testing Annex and look for the damaged opening that connects to the hallway. Before pulling an enemy inside, place your fireworks boxes along the hallway floor or walls.
After preparing the area, shoot a Hornet through the opening to gain its attention. Then retreat backward into the corridor.
The Hornet should chase you through the opening. Once it reaches the hallway, the restricted space makes its normal aerial movement much less effective.
This gives you a controlled target inside a narrow area. Activate the fireworks when it hovers close enough to the boxes.
The advantage here is that you are using the map itself instead of depending on a particular piece of equipment. If you are already near Dam Battlegrounds, this can be a convenient way to finish the objective.
Pick One Method and Stick With It
There is no need to attempt all three methods during the same raid. The barricade setup is generally the easiest starting point because it requires relatively little positioning once you find a suitable flying ARC.
The rooftop strategy is better suited to players who already have Electric Mines and are comfortable using terrain. The Testing Annex method is particularly convenient when you happen to be near Dam Battlegrounds.
Whichever approach you choose, remember that the fireworks are not meant to be used as a conventional weapon against an actively flying enemy. Your preparation should focus on making the target predictable first.
Make the Final Attempt Efficient
The fastest approach for many players is to enter with a Fireworks Box and Barricade Kit, locate a Hornet or Firefly, disable two rotors, and then place the fireworks directly in front of the grounded ARC. Once the enemy is trapped in place, the 100 damage requirement becomes far less frustrating.
Players who still need extra resources for the attempt may also consider ARC Items as part of their broader preparation, but the actual challenge depends much more on positioning than on having a powerful loadout.
With the event ending September 6, 2026, it is worth completing the requirement now rather than waiting for another raid. Once you stop trying to chase flying ARCs and start controlling where they can move, the fireworks challenge becomes considerably easier.
