Structural Steel is an essential engineering material used to manufacture frameworks and components that support loads in construction and industrial applications. Compared with ordinary steel products, structural steel is designed with specific mechanical properties, including high tensile strength, impact resistance, toughness, and weldability.

Depending on chemical composition and performance requirements, structural steel can be classified into carbon structural steel and low-alloy structural steel. Carbon structural steel, such as ASTM A36, provides excellent machinability and cost efficiency for general construction. Low-alloy structural steel, such as S355 and A572 Grade 50, offers higher strength and improved performance for demanding applications.

Structural steel plays a critical role in industries such as construction, shipbuilding, transportation, oil & gas, mining, and power generation. It is commonly manufactured into steel plates, H beams, I beams, angle steel, channels, and welded structures to meet different project requirements.

Thanks to its outstanding combination of strength, flexibility, and economic value, structural steel continues to be a preferred choice for global infrastructure projects and industrial manufacturing.
