Yesterday I received a letter from federal prosecutors saying I'm a target in an investigation involving wire transfers processed by a company where I used to work. This morning, federal agents came to my apartment with a warrant and took my laptop and phone. They've also asked me to come in for an interview next week. I've never been charged with anything before, and I have no idea what I'm facing. Where can I find a lawyer in the US who handles cases this serious?

Don't call the agents and try to explain everything yourself. Even a conversation that sounds informal can become part of the case, and you don't know what evidence they already have. Don't attend the interview or discuss the investigation with former coworkers until you've spoken with counsel. Tell the agents that an attorney will contact them on your behalf.

A target letter and a search warrant show that this has gone far beyond a routine request for information. You need an attorney who can speak with investigators and determine what stage the case has reached. You can contact a lawyer in the USA here: https://arkadybukhlawfirm.com/ . Send the target letter and warrant before the consultation so the attorney can see exactly what authorities are investigating. Write down the dates of every call, visit, and request while you still remember them.
