They're flying me out to Astana, Kazakhstan for a massive tech conference pretty soon and my calendar is packed tight. The whole week involves nonstop networking events and shaking hands with industry folks until my arm falls off. Staring at convention center walls all day drains a person completely and I definitely need to escape the corporate bubble during my downtime.
