Why did Discord ban all my accounts?

I got into a pretty heated argument with someone in a Discord server and the mods ended up kicking me out completely. I figured I would just create a second account to jump back in and keep talking to the rest of the guys. Next thing I know, Discord locked both of my accounts permanently. Do they actually shut you down entirely just for bypassing a localized server block or could there be other triggers I totally missed?

Discord ban

Discord literally does not care about local server drama. A random mod kicking you from a chat will never trigger a global ban on its own. What actually got you nuked was creating a brand new profile on the exact same IP address and hardware right after the block. Their automated anti-spam system flags rapid alternate registrations as bot network activity, so it just blocks every login tied to your machine.

Man, trying to appeal anything with their support team is basically talking to a brick wall. You will probably just get the exact same automated reply over and over again.
