After you book a ticket that can get this offer, you might get an email invite. You can also see a place to bid online. You then pick an amount that is in the range Finnair shows.
Bids are checked based on how many seats there are and how many people want them. If you make a higher bid, you often get a better shot. But even a middle-range bid can work out if not many people are trying to get in.
