A Comfortable Journey from Delhi to Nainital
We started our trip early in the morning from Delhi, and the journey instantly felt refreshing. The well-maintained Tempo Traveller offered spacious seating, ample legroom, clean interiors, and a smooth ride, making it ideal for a long road trip. Travelling together allowed us to chat, relax, play music, and enjoy scenic views on the way.
As we entered Uttarakhand’s Kumaon region, the landscape quickly transformed into cool winds, lush hills, and beautiful valleys, giving us a warm welcome to the charming hill town of Nainital.
Exploring Nainital’s Most Iconic Attractions
Nainital, situated at an elevation of about 2,000 meters, is known for its serene lakes, colonial architecture, and peaceful atmosphere. Our first stop was the iconic Naini Lake, where we enjoyed a calm and soothing boating experience. Surrounded by mountains and colourful boats, the lake felt like the heart of the city.
From there, we visited the sacred Naina Devi Temple, located on the northern side of the lake. Its peaceful environment and spiritual ambience made our visit meaningful and refreshing.
Next, we took the Ropeway to Snow View Point, one of the best experiences of our trip. From the top, we witnessed breathtaking Himalayan views, including Nanda Devi, the highest peak in Uttarakhand.
More Scenic Spots That Made Our Trip Special
Our group also explored Tiffin Top, a peaceful hilltop known for panoramic views of the town. The fresh air and calm surroundings made it a great place to relax. We then visited Eco Cave Garden, where the unique cave structures added a fun and adventurous twist to the day.
Evenings were spent strolling on Mall Road, shopping for souvenirs, enjoying local food, and soaking in the charm of Nainital. The cool breeze and lake-view streets made every moment beautiful.
We also visited the High Altitude Zoo, home to rare Himalayan wildlife, and later explored nearby lakes like Bhimtal and Naukuchiatal. Their serene environment and boating activities added even more joy to our trip.
A Perfect Group Adventure
From comfortable travel to unforgettable sightseeing, our Nainital weekend getaway was everything we hoped for. The 16 seater Tempo Traveller in Delhi from MWT played a big role in making our journey smooth, organised, and enjoyable.
