Beware of scams but this Samsung Account deletion email is official

SeveralSamsungusers have recently received an email saying their Samsung Account will be deleted if not used for 24 months. At first, this email looked like a phishing scam, but it’s an official email from Samsung.
The email claims that Samsung is introducing a new rule starting July 31, 2025. Under this new rule, any account that hasn’t been used in 24 months will be deleted.
Moreover, it states that once the account is deleted, you won’t be able to recover any of your data. The email also lists some exceptions, such as family accounts or accounts that used Samsung Rewards points or made purchases.
Some people may think it comes from a fake email address, but the domain name samsung-mail.com shows that the domain is owned by Samsung, whichconfirmsthe email is genuine. This is not aphishing scamand does not get your personal information or login details.
This email also includes links to check for exceptions or contact the support center. Some users, especially on Reddit, were concerned and advised others not to click on anything. But Samsung has officially confirmed that it is quite safe to press this link.

that they have received the same email. Users reported that it was even sent to email addresses that were never used to create a Samsung account. So, it is just a notice being sent to all users to inform them about the upcoming policy on inactive accounts. There is no scam involved.
