Circle is also a useful way to start introducing some gear burning, as otherwise there would be nothing (any Ai you encounter while already having loot , will not kill you on its own)
and it makes the quicker pace possible (something I really enjoy particularly when i have to complete a lot of things for work and only have time to play a small)
If they do keep the circle then remove the consuming it does. Theres no reason not to be in a position to tank it, if you're wearing healing. This isn't a BR and the collapsing circle only creates fights and with more players being pushing into sessions (now 18) there are fewer portals available for everyone.
The circle helps with faster running, which makes the game more exciting. Yes, occasionally you get consumed by the darkness when you're just the last man standing as a portal is either too far away or you're not aware that it exists. i've died quite a few instances where i've been consumed by darkness and a bag full of loot. Oh, certain, i was angry for a short time however "play again" was clicked and now i'm getting back to it.
If you've never seen me on previous threads, I completely hate BR games. I've been having sort of fun time in this one, circle as well. I feel it adds another layer of elements that make things more dangerous , and while yeah, sometimes it can lead to a situation in which you're sucked in... it also keeps you on the move even when that means joining that group when you're not. Be strategically. maybe you lose. Maybe someone else joins and you win. or, perhaps you have an advantage and take home the prize. I've seen my share of deaths to trios of duos, duos and solos. I laugh sometimes, and (though I'm not sure if this ever succeeds) use my voice and tell them what i have on my dead body I'm sure they'll accept the information, but is that really? man, you got me.
