Over all view of Dark And Darker
This is me saying it , but it's not enjoyable. There are to many enemies with large damage thresholds for new play The battle royal ring doesn't need to be there as the extracts are inconsistent and boring and what is the reason why ???? time it takes for unlocking a door you haven't. Honestly this game has potential but for now, I'm not sure I'll enjoy it. 2.5/10 rating for this video game.
I believe you're viewing the game in the wrong way, possibly.
I'm having fun. I'm not sure I want to die in the first place, but I generally expect it and when I don't or I don't, how do I feel? An overwhelming feeling of satisfaction. However, I'm usually smiling when I'm dead due to my situation. The only time I'm upset is when I'm stuck however that's typically my fault .
There's an education curve for certain.
Someone who's new to the game and hasn't watched anything about it will be stomped by a goblin, beetle or even skelly from the start. Doesn't entirely matter how good they are with games generally, it's likely to happen at some point in your career in this game. Once you've played a few rounds you start to notice things - besides, there's not much advantages when starting out. It's like a lot of people who are complaining about this game didn't ever actually experience Skyrim (which has nothing to do with this, I'm comparing it because:) you are pretty weak in the beginning of the game. Once you've thrown some time in to it, you'll get better - and you're leveling upwards, and gaining positives. The same thing happens in this game, but the leveling is more sluggish. Personally, I think mobs from both games follow a similar attack style. Once you've mastered it the pattern, you'll often escape the threat, take a few attacks and then dodge the incoming.
