When it comes to PC games there is always a rush. Our wonderful virtual world continues to revolve around its metaphorical axis, there's a many exciting things to look forward to in the coming years. We've got Hogwarts Legacy, Starfield, Diablo 4 and more however, it's worthwhile to cast our minds back to some of the most memorable PC games of 2022. As the holiday season comes to a close and fireworks are blazing across the sky We've decided to take the liberty of compiling a selection of the major news events of the past year in one place - after all, what's not to love about a bit of nostalgia?
The most thrilling things that came out of January was the announcement from Blizzard Entertainment that the game will be set on the "all all-new universe" is in development that will add yet another bow to Diablo's and WoW maker's symbolic bow. Blizzard wasn't the only company to announce something new and exciting but Apex Legends creator Respawn Entertainment has also announced that it is working on a triple-A shooter.
And to top it all off gamers who play turn-based games were rewarded with the news of a new studio manned by Doom and XCOM designers, that have come together to bring more strategy to the genre that is growing ever more.
The most memorable event of February was, of course, Elden Ring. Awarded as one of the most memorable FromSoftware games ever The RPG game soared to the top of the charts, challenging players across the world to recreate the coveted item. Additionally, Elden Ring, Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG brought ARPG/MMO hybrid Lost Ark to the West following its successful launch in Korea. As server queues increased and players lost the desire to live, however but the game has grown after the launch and now offers an array of thrilling types of zones and classes. Dying Light 2 also deserves the attention of a few people; after everyone loves zombies, and who wouldn't enjoy taking on zombies?
