If Argos has his own sun ring people with sun affixes are free to be within it and cause the damage. If you do have an affix of the moon and are within the sun's circle the depleting bar will be visible over your head.
If you allow the bar to completely go out, you'll suffer some serious damage and even lose your life. Prevent this by stepping out of the circle. After you've done this, the overhead bar will resetand you'll be able to go back inside the circle and deal with even more damage. Just keep in mind that you'll have be able to walk out of the circle each time you need to reset the bar.
Argos often summon moon or sun orbs four at a time. These should be soaked, however, each person should only soak one orb because if you soak two you'll take excessive damage and be stunned. So, if the sun's orbs spawn by a sun affix, each player who has a sun affix, in which case there's four (provided that nobody has died), should soak one orb each.
If the orbs remain unsoaked, they'll summon an appropriately-sized area-of-effect (AoE) circle which will explode and cause harm. If someone has died and the orb is not soaked, you can leave it unsoaked instead of washing two yourself. The exploding circle that it produces is avoidable, the damage from soaking two orbs is not.

The "Big Pizza" mechanic is simple to recognize. A massive circle spawns around Argos (it basically takes up the entire battlefield) and is split into eight slices that include four sun slices and four moon slices. All you need to do to ensure you don't suffer damage is to stand in whichever kind of slice corresponds to your affix. If you have a sun affix, stand in one of the sun slices prior to the pizza is activated.
