WoW Classic WotLK The New Rules for Servers & Restrictions
To offer the most unique experience for players of WoW Classic WotLK as and to even the playing field and the economy for new and returning users alike. Blizzard introduces a fresh set of Fresh servers to WoW Classic Wrath of the Lich King.
These servers will be totally new, and will not allow players to bypass the 55-level requirement for making Death Knights. All players have to start at level 1 as everyone else.
So how will these WoW Classic WotLK Fresh servers work? These fresh servers will have specific rules, and restrictions In the first 90 daysafter the launch, players will not be allowed to enhance a person on Fresh Start realms. For at least one month, Fresh Start realms will no longer be an option for character transfer. Death Knights are not able to be created on these realms without the presence of a level 55 character on that same realm.
While this change is a great one overall that the community will happily accept, at the end the transfer guidelines could make the process more difficult. This is due to the fact that , after the 90-day window players will be able to transfer their characters to new servers.
That means the reset of the power and economy of players could end up being futile, as players are able to transfer their characters which are fully established and have the ability to use up to the gold cap. It remains to be seen if Blizzard will alter these rules as time goes on, or limit the amount of gold or other materials players can bring with them in server transfers.
