Description : I returned to play runescape after two years. Was astonished by the images reworks and discover that RuneScape is alive as before. However, I looked in sites which reveal playercounts as time passes and something puzzled meOSRS have significantly more active players than RS3, such as the double more. I see a point in why a few old runescape players wish to stick with osrs. How is that possible? Being RS3 the partial free to play with match, how can you OSRS have more players coming? My thougts: bots may play a part in this, and also these discrepancies are a proof how the problem is serious.

OSRS is more like the style of game Runescape has been at its peak of popularity in regards to gameplay/graphical style. There aren't any MTX in OSRS (aside from bonds?), a lot of individuals believe this makes RuneScape more genuine. They put updates providing the community the decision on what needs to be contained or not. Often times the mod staff is more engaged with paying attention to customers' opinions, and they've gotten more consistent updates. From the outside it seems more like a fire job in which as RS3 feels more about the money, although I'm not an OSRS participant.

Simply put, the majority of men and women quit RS3 for the wildy removal/free commerce removal 2 main reasons and evolution. Then a continuous stream of mtx started crawling, meaning more people jumped ship, subsequently osrs happened and individuals connected for nostalgia, then great large updates kept occurring, meaning as long as they dont mess up there's not any reason for folks to stop, also lots of people on osrs stop RS3 previously so they'd talk negative about it anyone new trying osrs wouldnt touch the"pay to win terrible fight dead game cash cow" regardless of how much RuneScape as come because eoc released, the only news about RS3 reaches osrs from folks who would make fun of it or reveal extreme cases of insane fashionscape, or individuals who quit RS3 and poor mouth its lack of upgrades or mtx or what not.

Add to this favorite content creators which were creating RS3 content hopped into the popular game resulting in even less coverage, its also a meme to hate RS3, the 1 time osrs was down and people were"compelled" to play RS3 that the streamers went on normal acc, did a quest and got keys watched they got like 1-4 attack or anything from lamp and logged out laughing just how op these things were p2w dead match. Add to this good and consistent upgrades, community voted updates, active network, and individuals stay for osrs, yes robots are a significant number of the player count but nowhere near what folks make it out to be.

No EoC / MTX, which is so severely loathed that people would abandon years of account advancement and start over from level 3 only to prevent. Less bad new player experience in osrs because RS3 is complicated and the tutorial does not cover enough, and the interfaces in RS3 can be a nuisance if you're new. RS3 looks empty to fresh players because veteran players are largely large level and congregated in particular locations that new players can't gain access, while osrs seems populated because their slow xp rates imply low level players actually exist, so new individuals probably feel less lonely over there.

Venezuelans and OSRS play with because it pays over IRL jobs. RS3 xp is simple to get, folks max and get bored and go over to osrs, while very few of the players come here because it takes so long to max in osrs. Their subreddit is double ours too, and there is less incentive so they got a great deal of players. Because it's a carpal-tunnel snare, I would have jumped ship too except I can not if I could stand the osrs grind.

Saying yes, 4m/h fletching XP is deemed slow is OSRS. I enjoy their mindset. It's so absurd. The slowest things in OSRS are the battle abilities (except prayer), runecrafting, fishing, woodcutting and mining, ESPECIALLY exploration. Additionally, I'm pretty sure OSRS has more rwt and MTX (bonds) compared to RS3 with anything it offers. If you do IM or even HCIM, getting XP (or not perishing as HC) is a lot harder than in OSRS. RS3 has a much wider variety of quests, some of them being quite unique and fun (except for Elemental Workshop III).

There are many more I want to tell you, but time is limited. These views and ideas are all from this website, if you are interested, you can browse them in detail. URL: https://www.winrsgold.com/
