Shocking video shows the ATM exploding from the building before one of the raiders helps cut it free using a chainsaw. Police were called at around 4.24am on Saturday morning following the audacious theft in Lutterworth, Leics. Extensive damage was caused to the front of the Post Office on George Street in the market town after the five-strong gang fled with containers full of cash. Detectives are now hunting the suspects, believed to have been driving a dark coloured vehicle, and probing whether they are linked to a string of similar recent raids.

CCTV at Pepe's Fish and Pizza Bar in Lesmahagow, South Lanarkshire, captured a group of teens hanging around outside before the incident, the Daily Record reports.

Jamie Mullins, 28, from St Ann’s, was seen outside the Fiveways Centre in Sherwood, which is used for Islamic prayer, on June 18 during Ramadan. Mullins was wearing a football shirt, drinking from a can of beer and carrying a St George’s flag when he committed the offence. He then smeared pork sausage meat on the mosque. Mullins admitted two charges – one of racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm and distress, and one of racially or religiously aggravated criminal damage. He was accompanied by Matthew Sarsfield, of Sherbrook Road Daybrook, who admitted one charge of causing racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress. Both were sentenced at Nottingham Magistrates Court on Tuesday this week.
