I would like to gift a friend (AMAB) with alterations to some clothes she loves but complains about the fit. My friend is very early in transition, and I think would benefit from an understanding professional.

As well as getting some specific pieces fixed, do tailors do consults? I mean, could she get her measurements as well as an idea of what to look for when shopping to know if something can be adjusted / altered?

Is any or all of this available in Austin, TX?
