Our 140 year old grand piano just started buzzing when you play most keys. What can we do to fix it, or at least to diagnose the problem?

Last November, we bought a lovely 140 year old Blüthner1. Other than the quirks that were there when we bought it, all has been very well.

However, since this past weekend, the piano has started buzzing when you play most of the keys in the mid-to-bass range. If I press up on the soundboard from underneath, it seems to lessen somewhat, but it doesn't go away completely (and I'm not even sure that's actually changing anything).

What are some possible causes? Do we just need to get a piano repair-person in here to take a look?

1. Don't ask how we got it into our apartment. Let's just say, we have no elevator and it did not fit up the stairs.
