So... how am I supposed to access my Instagram account now?

Last night I think Instagram flagged my account as being taken over by a bot (ugh), so when I try to log in it wants to send me a confirmation code to my email. Except there seems to be no confirmation code ever sent to my email. I've checked my trash, spam, etc. Nothing shows up. What now?

I requested support... but I'm not even sure which option to choose as the only picture of myself is my profile image:

1) Yes, I have a photo of myself in my account.
2) No, I do not have photos of myself in my account.

I chose the first option, and, of course... no email has been received yet. Am I being impatient? Is my Instagram account basically gone? I'm just so irritated that I'm supposed to get a code, but nothing is ever sent!! What am I supposed to do now?
