Cannnot bundle app on my Mac

I wrote a small program using python, and am using pyinstaller to bundle it into a standalone app on the mac. The build process looks fine, but when I double-click on the final app, I get an error saying, "You can't open the application "my_app].app" because this application is not supported on this Mac."
When I look inside my_app].app/Contents/MacOS, I can see my executable. When I launch the executable from within the folder, everything runs fine. The executable knows that it's under my_app].app/Contents/MacOS, and I can see that there are python-related dylibs. All relative paths are fine. Any idea what might be going on? I'm very new to building standalone apps, so please explain to me like I'm five. |
