Here is a photo of a planted border along a sunken sports area on our housing estate. As you can see the soil has a tendency to fall under the fence, onto the wall, and down into the court. What can I plant along the edge of the wall that will stabilise it, and perhaps hang down attractively, without becoming an invasive monster? Also, requiring little maintenance. This is in London, UK.
