Nauseous When Sleeping on Left Side, Never on Right

Looking for ideas: I sometimes when sleeping on my left side become nauseous, and sometimes am fine. More inside.

I can wake up, however, and have been on that side during sleep with no issues, and some nights it's not an issue. I am never nauseous stomach-down. I acknowledge you are not House, nor my doctor, and may 'just' be a layman using Dr. Google - I would run anything past a MD and am just looking for initial ideas as to what's going on.

(Although if you're an MD please consider identifying; I do acknowledge you're not my doctor.)

I am morbidly obese, have had my gallbladder out, and this only showed up since then; I also take Pepcid as a prescription.
