My city has had people setting off fireworks all night every night since Memorial Day. How can I help my dog?

Like many cities, DC has been experiencing a rise in community fireworks. Namely, in my neighborhood it has been every night between 8pm and 2+am. My dog was putting up with them at the start but the nightly barrage of noise has worn her down to a point that whenever we go outside now, even in the morning, she is too scared to function. She shakes and alternates between not budging and trying to bolt.

We know from these threads (1, 2, 3) that we're not the only city dealing with this. Yet, all the "train your dog to deal with fireworks" advice seems to be geared toward a normal year when a dog has to get through 1 or 2 weeks of fireworks at most rather than nearly a 6th of the year every night at close range.

So, if you also live in a firework full location at the moment, how have you helped your dog?
